SLBN 7 Kebon Nanas Teachers Invited to Visit Presidential Palace

Some 74 participants consisting of teachers, school principals, education staff, and the committee from the State Children Disabilities School or Sekolah Luar Biasa Negeri (SLBN) 7 Kebon Nanas, Jatinegara, East Jakarta, looked happy to take part in the visit to the Presidential Palace, Saturday (1/6).

This visit to the Presidential Palace is a form of appreciation given by the Jakarta TP PKK Acting Chairwoman, Mirdiyanti Heru Budi Hartono, to the staff and teaching staff at SLBN 7.

SLBN 7 Kebon Nanas Principal, Elda Refni expressed his party was invited by Mrs. Mirdiyanti to visit the Presidential Palace, as it was deemed successful in educating students with special needs during an arts and culture performance, December 13, 2023.

"She invited us to visit the presidential Palace. Because during an art performance at school, she was present and was very moved to see the performance of our students who had special needs," she stated.

At that time, she was amazed by the performance of students with special needs playing angklung, dancing, singing, qasidah, and pantomin.

"That's why she appreciates us by inviting us to visit the Presidential Palace today," she added.

On today's agenda, she and her group would be taken on a tour to visit rooms in the palace and take a photo with Mrs. Mirdiyanti and Jakarta Acting Governor, Heru Budi Hartono.

"We're very happy with this appreciation. Previously, our students were also given appreciation in the form of bicycles, shoes, and milk from Mrs. Mirdiyanti," she admitted.
